Interior Ministry Officials Asses Police Actions in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 28 March - Officials from the Office for Police Supervision at the Interior Ministry carried out a thorough control of police interventions into personal freedoms of a person, with special emphasis on the procedures used for arresting a person. The Ministry reported that the final results are mostly of a positive nature, as the police force has realised a majority of recomendations proposed by the representatives of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Non-Humane Actions.
