Vecer: Goodbye of Slovene Development Corporation

Maribor, 30 March - By privatising the Slovene Development Corporation (SRD), Slovenia hopes to kill three birds with one stone, writes the Maribor-based daily Vecer on Friday. SRD's privatisation would speed up the privatisation of state-owned companies, the state would be rid of concern for companies owned by SRD and at the same time Slovenia would comply with the acquis which does not permit such state aids to companies.
