Slovenia's Inflation at 1.1 Percent in March
Ljubljana, 30 March - Consumer prices went up 1.1 percent in March over February, thus putting Slovenia's monthly inflation rate at 1.1 percent. Consumer prices increased by 8.9 percent in March 2001 over March 2000 and by 2.6 percent over December 2000, according to figures released by the National Statistics Office. Retail prices rose by 1.2 percent in March over February, 10.4 percent on a year-to-year comparison and by 2.5 percent over December 2000.
