Agriculture Ministry Organises Conference on Food Safely

Ljubljana, 30 March - Slovenia can actualy be proud of having neither a case of mad-cow disease nor foot and mouth, two diseases which have changed the view of how agriculture should develop, particularly in Western Europe, Slovene Agriculture Minister Franci But told a conference about the safety of consumers in the food chain. The conference was held on Friday and was organised by the agriculture ministry in collaboration with the French embassy in Ljubljana and the Maribor-based Veterinary Faculty.
