CEI Speakers Discuss EU Integration and Regional Co-operation

Budapest, 30 March - Parliamentary speakers from the states - members of the Central European Initiative (CEI) who gathered in Budapest stressed that regional co-operation is an element of stability and a step towards European integration. It is vital in this process that EU candidate countries as well as all countries in Central Europe co-operate, Speaker of the Slovene National Assembly Borut Pahor said. "I'd like to see candidate countries to be partners, rather than rivals in the process of integration," he said.
