Slovenia's Duty Free Shops Caused Damage to Austria, Says Austrian Economics Minister
Maribor, 10 April - Economic relations between Slovenia and Austria are excellent and offer a model for other areas as well, Austrian Minister of Economics and Labour Martin Bartenstein said in an interview for the Slovene daily Vecer, published on Tuesday. Trade between the countries totals SIT 400 billion (1.8 million euros), while Slovenia places ahead of Russia by the volume of Austrian exports and is a very important market to Austria.
