Parliament Adopts Act on Customs Measures for Intellectual Property Rights Violations
Ljubljana, 10 April - In a 35:0 vote, the Slovene Parliament adopted on Tuesday the act on customs measures for violations of intellectual property rights, a piece of legislation aimed at reducing the volume of trade in falsified goods. The act, adopted in fast-track procedure, will enable owners of intellectual property rights to conduct a faster and more efficient control of the inflow of falsified goods into the country with the help of the customs authorities.
