Winner: There Will Probably Be No NATO Enlargement in 2002; Slovenia Has to Work Harder
Ljubljana, 11 April - NATO is unlikely to invite new members at the Prague summit in 2002, said Andrew Winner of the Washington-based Institute for Foreign Policy Analysis in his talk on NATO enlargement at Slovenia's Defence Ministry on Wednesday. Winner, a ten-year veteran of the U.S. Department of State, said that potential enlargement mostly depends on the U.S. point of view, namely on the decision President George Bush makes.
