Another Step Towards Europe: Slovenia Deregulates Internal Electricity Market

Ljubljana, 15 April - Another step on Slovenia's path to the EU has been taken with the official deregulation of the internal electricity market, a move which takes effect today. The move will mean that the largest electricity users, such as the industry, schools and hospitals, in addition to electrical distributors will have the opportunity to chose the most favourable Slovene electricity provider.
