Gloomy Days for Slovene Books?
Ljubljana, 17 April - Slovenia places among top European countries by the number of published book titles, said Slovene President Milan Kucan on Tuesday at the opening of Slovene days of book at one of Ljubljana's major square. The president however also drew attention to the less encouraging decision made by one of Slovenia's major publishers, DZS, to cancel its literature programme.
