Gov't Given 48 Hours to Act on Farmers' Demands

Murska Sobota, 17 April - Representatives of the Slovene Farmers' Trade Union, the Slovene Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry, the Association of Agricultural Co-operatives and a smaller agriculture association reiterated their demand at Tuesday's meeting that the Slovene government ban all imports and transport of live animals and meat in and across Slovenia within 48 hours.
