Weekly Review of the Slovene Economy from 14 to 20 April
Ljubljana, 22 April - Slightly before Friday midnight the state budget for 2001 was adopted in the National Assembly. With expenditure higher than revenues, the budget deficit is expected to amount to one percent of GDP. A new, acting board of managers in Telekom Slovenia was appointed last week after the government dismissed the previous board led by Marjan Podobnik, a member of the SLS+SKD.
