Daily Vecer on Drnovsek's Meeting with Chirac
Maribor, 25 April - During their Monday meeting, Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek had to discuss with French President Jaques Chirac a burning issue, namely that of the future Schengen border between Slovenia and Croatia. Persuaded that the Balkan uncertainty does not begin at the borders of Bosnia and Yugoslavia, but more to the north, Chirac is worried whether Slovenia will be able to properly secure the new EU border, a Maribor-based daily writes on Wednesday.
