Vecer on the Mine Tragedy

Maribor, 26 April - It is too early for experts and prosecution bodies to start searching for possible reasons and for those responsible for the pit accident in the Trbovlje-Hrastnik coal mine. Security measures in Slovene coal mines are fairly good, which miners have confirmed themselves, while experts say that the accident was unpredictable, since the technical chief and his team checked the shaft after the first torrent of water and mud burst into the mine, the Slovene daily Vecer writes on Thursday.
