Environment Ministry Competent for Energy as Amended Act on Ministries Takes Effect

Ljubljana, 28 April - The amended act on the organisation and competence of ministries has come into force. The main purpose of the act is to bring the organisation of ministries in line with the new government act, as well as to make the organisation more economical. One of the major novelties is the transfer of the energy sector from the Economics Ministry to the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning.
