Slovene Department at Trieste-based RAI Affiliate Demands Better Working Conditions

Workers of the Slovene programme department at the provincial affiliate of Italy's Radio and Television (RAI) in Trieste, staged a strike on Monday in a bid to bring unsuitable working conditions at the station to attention. One of the demands is also an independent radio and television programme in the Slovene language.
