Slovenia Will Be Ready Before Other EU Candidates, Says PM Drnovsek for Le Monde

Paris, 10 May - "There is a chance Slovenia and one or two more countries are ready for EU accession before the rest of the EU candidates," said Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek in an interview for French daily Le Monde during his recent visit to Paris. Drnovsek also pointed out the issue, with which the more progressive EU candidate countries have to deal with, namely whether they will have to wait for EU accession until Poland can also become part of the integration.
