President Kucan Opens New Slovene Heritage Centre in Pennsylvania

Cleveland, 13 May - Slovene President Milan Kucan opened a Slovene Heritage Centre in Borough, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, as part of his two-day stay in the United States which has come about at the invitation of the Slovene National Benefit Society (Slovenska Narodna Podporna Jednota - SNPJ). Kucan, who was accompanied by Slovene Ambassador to the U.S. Davorin Kracun and Consul General in Cleveland Tone Gogala, also met with the SNPJ president Joseph Evanish and was greeted by more than 200 American Slovenes.
