The head of the Slovene Cultural and Economic Union in Italy, Rudi Pavsic, hopes the mainstream of the right-centre coalition, which has won Italy's general elections, will have a positive regard to the Slovene minority in Italy and the neighbouring Slovenia, while Sergij Pahor of the Council of Slovene Organisations believes Silvio Berlusconi's victory does not have much good in store for Slovenes.
