Slovene Foreign and Defence Ministers Discuss Co-operation in Developing Europe's Defence

Brussels, 15 May - Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and Defence Minister Anton Grizold on Tuesday in Brussels attended separate meetings of foreign and defence ministers from the EU member countries with those coming from the partner states with whom the EU co-operates in developing defence plans. The two ministers reiterated at the meetings that Slovenia is ready to co-operate in future European crisis intervention missions, both military and civil ones. Minister Rupel said that Slovenia would be undoubtedly able to make a greater contribution once it becomes an EU member.
