Ski-Lift Workers Need Help after a Poor Season
Ljubljana, 16 May - Slovene ski-lift workers have concluded the ski season with losses of SIT 762 million (3.5 million euros). Ski centres were open for merely 786 days last winter, which was 49 percent of the average in the past three seasons, and saw a total of 595,332 skiers, which was 55 percent of the average in the past three seasons. The previous season, by contrast, saw 1.36 million skiers.
