Slovenia and Hungary Establish Railway Link
Hodoš, 16 May - Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek and his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban officially opened a railway line between Slovenia and Hungary in the Slovene border town of Hodos on Wednesday. The 43.5 long railway line completes the section Venice - Lvov of the fifth pan-European transport route between Barcelona and Kiev, presenting the shortest route between north-Adriatic sea-ports and eastern European countries.
