Defence Committee Unanimous on Draft Resolution on National Security Strategy

Ljubljana, 17 May - The draft resolution on the national security strategy, Slovenia's basic document on national security, was unanimously approved by the parliamentary defence committee on Thursday. The committee also discussed the report of NATO's expert group, which has visited Slovenia to assess the implementation of Slovenia's NATO membership action plan between 2000 and 2001. Defence Minister Anton Grizold and Slovene Armed Forces Chief of Staff Ladislav Lipic also attended the session.
