Preparations for Bush-Putin Summit Underway

Ljubljana, 20 May - Preparations for the summit between U.S. President George W. Bush and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, scheduled to take place in Ljubljana in mid-June, have already begun. A special team that will head the organisation, which is usually led by the Interior Minister, should be appointed in the upcoming days. Russian and U.S. officials, who are in charge of organising the visits of their presidents, are also expected in Ljubljana this week, the head of the Government's Press Relations Office Alja Brglez revealed on Sunday.
