Speaker Pahor to Attend Meeting With European Parliament President

Ljubljana, 27 May - Speaker of Slovenia's Parliament Borut Pahor is due to travel to Bratislava on Sunday where he will attend the 11th meeting of presidents of parliaments from EU candidate countries with the President of the European Parliament, which is to begin on Monday. The President of the European Parliament Nicola Fontaine will be represented by Vice-President Guido Podesta. The participants are expected to focus their discussions on EU enlargement, the agreement reached at the Nice summit, as well as employment and social matters concerning the enlargement process.
