Senior Coalition Partner Losing Popularity, Poll Shows
Ljubljana, 28 May - Should a general election be held next Sunday, the senior coalition partner, LDS, would secure 26.7 percent of the vote, the largest opposition party, SDS, would receive 9.6 percent, while the coalition SLS+SKD would garner 4.8 percent of the vote, a poll published in Monday's Dnevnik has revealed. The results of Dnevnik opinion polls have showed that the popularity of LDS has slipped under 30 percent twice since the October 2000 general elections.
