Restricted Flow of Labour Force Unacceptable for Slovenia, Says Minister Bavcar
Munich, 28 May - Restrictions of the free flow of labour force upon EU accession is unacceptable for Slovenia, said Slovene Minister of European Affairs Igor Bavcar, who is on a two-day visit to Germany's Bavaria, where he met with Bavarian Minister of Federal and European Affairs Reinhold Bocklet on Monday. If the EU assesses the candidates' achievements on the differentiation principle, Slovenia will be excluded from restrictions, said Bavcar, who told STA that Bocklet defended the point of view on transition periods, but thought that in Slovenia's case such restrictions could be done away with in two years.
