Referendum Will Test the Degree of Democracy in Slovenia, LDS Official Says

Ljubljana, 29 May - The initiative to hold a referendum on such an important issue as is the right to in-vitro fertilisation is an abuse of referendum. The referendum scheduled for 17 June will in a way test how tolerant Slovenes are when problems regarding small groups are concerned, an official of the ruling Liberal Democrats (LDS) said on Tuesday.
