Government Presents Bank Privatisation Programme

Ljubljana, 30 May - After two weeks of coalition arrangements, the programme for the privatisation of both state-owned banks, Nova ljubljanska banka (NLB) and Nova kreditna banka Maribor (NKBM), is to be discussed by government on Thursday. Majority shares are to be sold to foreign and domestic investors, while the state is to keep 25 percent plus one share in each of the two banks.
