Weekly Review of the Slovene Economy from 26 May to 1 June

Ljubljana, 3 June - Significant changes are expected to occur on the Slovene financial market after a bank privatisation programme was given the green light by the government on Thursday. Both state-owned banks, namely Nova Ljubljanska banka and Nova Kreditna banka Maribor are to get new owners by the end of March 2002 at the latest.
