Greek and Slovene Foreign Ministers Discuss Enlargement of EU and NATO
Athens, 5 June - Together with two or three other countries, namely Cyprus and Hungary, Slovenia is at the top of the list of EU candidate countries. Moreover, despite the fact that a decision on NATO enlargement has not yet been taken, positive signals can be noticed also in relation to its NATO membership, said Greek Foreign Minister George Papandreou after meeting his Slovene counterpart Dimitrij Rupel in Athens on Tuesday. Rupel is accompanying Slovene President Milan Kucan on his three-day official visit to Greece.
