Austrian Capital Hosts Conference on Regional Co-operation
Vienna, 6 June - A regional ministerial conference opened in Vienna on Wednesday morning with a debate on the potential to strengthen co-operation in security, culture, education, infrastructure and the environment as well as the exchange of information in a bid to boost EU enlargement. The conference is hosted by Austrian Foreign Minister Benita Ferrero-Waldner, and is attended by the foreign ministers from Austria's neighbours (Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary) and Poland. Slovenia is represented by Minister Dimitrij Rupel.
