Agreement on Regional Partnership Reached in Vienna
Vienna, 6 June - An agreement on a regional partnership which foresees non-institutional co-operation among countries of Central Europe was reached in Vienna on Wednesday by Foreign Ministers Benita Ferrero-Waldner of Austria, Dimitrij Rupel of Slovenia, Eduard Kukan of Slovakia, Janos Martonyi of Hungary, Jan Kavan of the Czech Republic, and Deputy Polish Foreign Minister Andrzej Ananicz. The agreement moreover foresees regular meetings of foreign ministers in the region ahead of individual EU summits and closer co-operation in culture.
