Slovenia and Portugal Wish to Strengthen Economic Relations
Ljubljana, 7 June - Prime Minister of Portugal Antonio Guterres, who is on the second and final day of his visit to Slovenia, on Thursday opened a business conference attended by 30 Slovene companies and 15 Portuguese companies at the Slovene Chamber of Commerce (GZS). In his opening address Guterres stressed that trade between the two countries is fairly weak, reaching just under US$ 30 million in 2000, while he is convinced that economic relations will be strengthened in the future.
