Security Plans for U.S.-Russian Summit in Final Stages; Police Prepared for Protests
Ljubljana, 7 June - The preparation of security plans for the upcoming U.S.-Russian summit in Slovenia has moved into its final stage, meaning that the plans are to be submitted to the director general of the Slovene police Marko Pogorevec on Monday or Tuesday. Activities ran swiftly and smoothly, since the Slovene police has experience with similar events, director of the uniformed police Stanislav Veniger said in an interview for STA.
