Austrian Parliament Adopts Minority Schooling Act
Vienna, 7 June - MINORITY/AUSTRIA/SLOVENIA
The Austrian Parliament on Thursday unanimously adopted the act on minority education, reported the Austrian Press Agency (APA). The decision means that the parliament put into practice the instructions of the Constitutional Court, which decided earlier in the year that a fourth-grade of bilingual classes - taught in German and Slovene - has to be introduced in Austria's Carinthia province.
