Slovenia Presents Its Achievements at UN Session on Agenda Habitat
Ljubljana, 8 June - Slovene State Secretary at the Environment Ministry Tomaz Kancler pointed out Slovenia's key achievements in implementing Agenda Habitat on settlements in his speech at a special session of the UN General Assembly, also called Istanbul +5, on implementation of the Agenda, which was adopted five years ago in Istanbul. The session was held in New York between Wednesday and Friday and is to conclude with an adoption of a declaration on urban settlements in the new millennium.
