Outcome of Irish Referendum Could Slow Down Enlargement Process

Ljubljana, 9 June - The ratification of the Nice Treaty in all EU members is a precondition for EU enlargement, therefore Slovenia accepted the results of the referendum in Ireland, which rejected the ratification of the Treaty, with apprehensiveness, the Slovene Foreign Ministry believes.
