Ireland Supports Active Enlargement Policy

Dublin, 13 June - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, who is concluding his visit to Ireland on Wednesday, was assured that the Irish no-vote to the Nice Treaty was not aimed against EU enlargement, and that Ireland would continue with its policy of active support for enlargement, STA was told by sources from the Slovene delegation.
