Delo: Final Countdown?

Ljubljana, 14 June - NATO partly promised to expand because of the applicants which despite economic hardship brought by transition undertook the modernisation of their armed forces, increasing their defence budgets and meeting all other criteria set by Brussels. Yet, the alliance was also thinking about its own interests, a Slovene daily observes a day after NATO announced its plane to carry out another round of enlargement in Prague next year.
