Bavcar: Slovenia Could Follow Hungary's Example in Regard to Restrictions
Ljubljana, 14 June - Slovenia is studying the potential of following Hungary's example in the EU accession talks and closing the chapter on the free movement of persons under the principle of reciprocity, Slovene European Affairs Minister Igor Bavcar told Thursday's press conference. Hungary closed the chapter on the free movement of persons at Tuesday's round of accession negotiations in Luxembourg, accepting the EU's seven year restriction on the movement of its labour force, as well as the right to implement the same restrictions for the workers from the current EU members.
