Early Openning of Labour Market Still Studied in Denmark, Says Potocnik
Copenhagen, 15 June - Denmark still studies the possibility to open its labour market to workers from future EU members immediately after the enlargement, while in Slovenia's case it would support the closure of accession negotiations for this chapter in the same way as was done with Hungary, which accepted a transition period of up to seven years conditioned with reciprocity. This was told by Danish officials to Slovenia's Chief Negotiator with the EU Janez Potocnik during his visit to Copenhagen on Friday.
