Italian Citizens Who Left Former Yugoslavia after WWII Protest in New York
New York, 15 June - A group of 20 protesters of Italian nationality gathered in front of the Slovene consulate in New York on Friday, demanding that Slovenia protect the right of Italian citizens who left the former Yugoslavia after World War II. A list of demands addressed to Slovene President Milan Kucan, Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek and the Slovene Parliament was handed over to the Slovene Consul General Andrej Podvrsic.
