Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is hopeful that the U.S.-Russian summit would, among other things, lay the foundations for a new era in U.S.-Russian relations, he told a press conference he gave in Ljubljana on Saturday morning ahead of the summit due to take place early in the afternoon at Brdo Castle.
