Planned Legal Changes Too Much for Traditionalists, Says Health Minister
Ljubljana, 17 June - The act which would allow single women to have test-tube babies is obviously too much of a change for the traditional views of the voters on the what is an acceptable form of reproducing, as well as on the life in the community. That is why many people decided to vote on the basis of whether they would accept such assistance, instead of deciding on whether they would allow those, who consider such assistance acceptable, to seek it, Slovene Health Minister Dusan Keber commented the current results from the referendum on the infertility treatment with bio-medical assistance act, which show large opposition to the act.
