Commissioner Monti Received by Slovene PM
Ljubljana, 18 June - European Commissioner for Competition Mario Monti, who is on a two-day working visit to Slovenia, was received by Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek on Monday. The two officials exchanged views on EU enlargement and the institutional reforms linked to this process, it was reported from the Prime Minister's Office. Earlier in the day Monti opened the 7th annual conference of the European Commission directorate general for competition, and competition and state aids institutions from 13 EU candidate countries.
