PM Drnovsek: Referendum on Duty Free Shops Would Be Another Hurdle on the Way to the EU
Ljubljana, 19 June - I hope that Slovene citizens won't have to take a decision on duty-free shops in a referendum, although this possibility does exist, Slovene Prime Minster Janez Drnovsek said in response to a Constitutional Court decision that the act to transform duty-free shops into ordinary shops is not in line with the constitution.
