Efficient Implementation of Competition Policy Is Important, Says Anti-Monopoly Office Director
Ljubljana, 19 June - The European Commission is putting less stress on the harmonisation of the legislation or the institutional building, as far as the establishment of a EU-compatible competition system is concerned, but rather gives stress on the implementation of regulations and the transfer of competition culture to other segments, i.e. courts and companies, said director of the Slovene anti-monopoly office Andrej Plahutnik upon the conclusion of the 7th annual conference on competition in Ljubljana on Tuesday.
