Slovenia Can Be Pleased with Its Economy of the Last Decade, Says Former Deputy Prime Minister
Ljubljana, 21 June - Slovenia can be pleased with the performance of its economy of the last ten years, as the standard of living has improved, while a four-percent economic growth has been recorded for over seven years, former Deputy Prime Minister and incumbent Chancellor of the Ljubljana University Joze Mencinger told Radio Slovenia on Wednesday. Still, there are some negative effects, the transition has resulted in a number of unemployed persons, and Slovenia has recorded a substantial negative balance in the last two years, according Mencinger.
