Foreign Ministry Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Slovene Independence
Piran, 25 June - The Slovene Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a reception on the eve of Slovenia's 10th National Day in the seaside resort of Piran. In his address, Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, who also held the same post 10 years ago, stressed that on that day in 1991 "we created borders so that we could participate in a Europe without borders as soon as possible".
